Class 12
Your child’s final year of schooling is a year of culmination, bringing together twelve years of learning, growth and self discovery. Rich in academic inquiry and challenge, it is a time for your child to deepen their interests, celebrate their achievements and step forward with confidence and purpose into the next chapter of their lives.
The Class 12 Project
At the heart of Class 12, are the student led research projects; a year long exploration of a topic inspired by each student’s own interests and passions. With the support of the College, students identify a question they are genuinely curious about and are paired with a professional mentor whose knowledge and experience helps guide their journey of research, discovery and growth.
The Class 12 Project brings together academic rigour, practical application and personal initiative, culminating in:
• A practical component
• A 4,000 word research essay
• A reflective journal documenting the process and learning journey
• A 30 minute public presentation to the school community
Graduation
The students graduate with a Certificate of Steiner Education, a Steiner Class 12 Examination Report and a detailed Class 12 Project Report.
